Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker and former factory worker Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered to be an academically talented child when she began in the second grade at age five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She also competed at Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her Aunt in 1977, moved in New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week after. The next stage was Europe in the course of a year within Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone unhappy with the model world in Europe began acting in Europe. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise in her 20s.
