Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, Kent, Greater London. The actress is well-known as a character in films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other such as 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. She was born at Gravesend near Greater London. The career path she chose began when she completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She first made an appearance with a satire titled "St. Trinian's".. The film followed shortly thereafter in "Quantum of Solace", the James Bond spy thriller. The film had a great success commercially and was met with only average reviewers. She was the main character in the action-fantasy movie 'Prince of Persia The Sands of Time" was her next. In the past, she was a role as a support on the French film "Orphan". Her work has been receiving numerous nominations for awards.
